My classmate from IV5pp, a fellow mathematician and programmer. Her dad was the principal of the elementary school in their village, nearby. She studied in Belgrade, so we sort of lost track of each other after gimnazija, and then she went to work in Bosnia somewhere for a few years. Then her younger sister got a scholarskip in the US, I think for a master degree, and dragged her some time later. She married there, to an armenian guy. The sister went to Norway, or was it Finland.
From time to time we'd exchange a brief outburst of emails, specially at the time we were getting ready to move to the US. Then at times later she wouldn't respond at all, then she would. She even sent me the DVD with all the video and snapshots from the 2008 reunion.
Every few years I'd visit her company's website, just to see that she's afloat. Did that now... and I see the domain is for sale. They may have sold the company, who knows.
She reappeared in 2018, when her father was about to die. Then again not a word for months... then she reappears, with daughter sometimes. Widowed, don't remember since when. Looks OK, voice the same, language a funny hodgepodge of translations from american english and remembered old tricks, probably just like we sounded in 2010.
