What sports people wear when training, and still aren't warm enough to get into just jersey and boxers. It used to be a kind of fleecy material, nowadays it seems to be sheer synthetics. Consists of a jacket which has a short zipper to the collar, and baggy pants with either a latex band sewn in the edge or another zipper to close around the ankles.
Was deemed fashionable to wear in public some time in the eighties. Part of the reason is the olympiad in Sarajevo and the concurrently launched Yassa line of sportswear by some big oour of the time. It was designed superbly, and was a big commercial success. One could wear those in public without being ashamed at all. But then the subsequent imitations thereof weren't exactly anywhere close, and soon the chinese imitations of those imitations were another order of magnitude worse.
Some morons (or Bosnians, who may do it for their own reasons which I never bothered to understand) still stick to them. Generally, I still see people wearing them in public, and this type of sportswear doesn't look as bad as it used to, but still, it's not different, in my eyes, from wearing pyjamas. I expect the "sorry, it's this rush, didn't have the time to take a shower" any minute. So I mostly avoid the company of people who dress so - unless it's an outing.
