Went to see dad in the morning, something about the little bathroom. It must have been closed for the winter, so to open the valve again. He likes it better, it's a shower cabin, easier to get in and out. He must have slipped a few times in the tub. aunt Milica bought him no-skid mat for the tub, but he seems to have not understood what it was for, so he laid it on the side. Only four years later I found it and put it in the tub.

Arpi called about the arrangements - he'll have a bus in the morning to take all the guests to Kladovo, so we need to be there before 7:00. In a couple of sentences we understood that he's home alone, as everyone else was already there, went two days in advance. We'll keep you company, then.

So we (three) took a cab and then sat with him until after midnight. Had a couple of beers. I was getting kind of cold on my hands - had just a light shirt - so now there's a picture of me wearing a jacket with just my hands in the sleeves and the back of the jacket over my knees.

We went to catch some sleep, but around three I got up to pee. On my way back I saw him sitting in the kitchen, and, well, we had a few brandies and got rather drunk. Went back to sleep.
