This week without a roommate. Probably not too many people want to be in Nova Gorica last week before the 29th of november, the Republic day, which is on a sunday this year, so we also get monday and tuesday off - and the traffic will be a killer on friday, specially if the nice weather holds (it did).
Could have had a roomie, but just didn't like the guy - it's the oldest* 'programmer' of sorts in the textile oour, who probably did some coding until a few years ago, when they still used that big IBM360 downtown, with punch cards. He wasn't even the boss of the erc there, I guess they sent him to a higher operator course. Whichever way, I didn't sense him as part of any culture to which I'd belong, so I just said "no" when the clerk at the reception offered me a change of room, so this week I was all alone. Didn't see him much whole week.
The course got more interesting. Actually later I stole some code to emulate a GetOneKeyPress command I had in each version of Basic so far (best in Beta Basic on zx spectrum), and included it in the Vaha version of my solitaire game.
