Second day of ekskurzija... began very shortly after the previous, we got up at 3:40. Nuts. Around 5:30 three girls (from VII/4, otherwise not part of my story) came to visit, and there was just general joking, played some cards. After breakfast we continued the trip, and considering the road wasn't fixed much since before the turkish times, several folks have puked. I guess we ate in Titovo Užice, because I remember the river and the cool big hotel above it, where we sat (didn't take any shots, though). My notes say it was the terrace of the Ferial Union. Well well, who'd a thunk...

In the back of the bus there was good gang, and Tejka took the trouble to be taught the works of my regula... or at least to pretend to listen. At some point she was sitting a bit apart and silent, and just in a middle of a silence said "dušo" (eqv. to "honey"), which nobody else heard and I couldn't believe I did. But the confused look on her face told me that it did happen, and the next thing was to agree that we'll pretend that it didn't. Which was then very funny because we had something that nobody else knew but must be interesting because we were laughing so hard. The definition is kind of circular, but there it was. Then a few minutes later I misspoke, phrased something too losely, just somewhat over the edge that she could take as an insult - and that she did. So the magic broke. She slapped me twice and there was no more talk. Just a "I'll never forget this to you".

The next day, saturday, was the last saturday of this school year. Not a word. On sunday, I was over it - both over the accidental insult addressed to a being of the weaker sex (who can deliver a punch like a real male), and over the failed chance. I thought some diplomacy would prevent a war and that would be it. On monday, she was mostly over it. On tuesday, just like we were before.

The weekend around 20th, end of school year, we had guests. I was so engrossed in my private affairs, that I hated every minute of this encroachment into my free time. I didn't even write down who the guests were - perhaps Anica and the rest of them.
