Nisla (Slanislav Dunjić)

(Person, Yugoslavia)

A funny and amusing guy. His dad was the director of the camp in Borik. His status, therefore, was ambiguous - he'd hang out with us in the evenings, once in 1972 he even took us (Sneca, Veca, me and a bunch of dutch teenagers) into their house, which was inside the camp, because we had just too much fun and the rain shouldn't disperse us. He played guitar, rather well, and was the center of those evenings when he did.

In later years we didn't see him much, probably went to college, but his dad used to drop by. Then we learned they weren't locals at all, they were from Srem, and they had some trouble from time to time because of being Serbs. I wonder where they may be now.
