Differential equations exam, test. I don't really remember how it was, only that the professor who held the subject last year wasn't there, and was replaced with the lady whom I knew from the analysis (aka calculus) courses. I passed the written, and asked to postpone the written until april, as I'm getting married. She agreed and that was it.
I remember taking my scrap papers with me, along with the questions (printed, namely mimeographed, and for once, the print was rather clear), sitting over a coffee in the restaurant at the railway station in Novi Sad, and trying to make sense of the one I couldn't solve when I should have. The interesting problem of a dog chasing a fox (or was it a fox chasing a rabbit?) which is running along a given curve (straight or a circle? remember...) and the dog keeps the direction towards the fox at all times. What curve would the dog describe? Rather interesting, indeed. Don't know whether I was waiting for a train or a bus, the two stations are adjacent in Novi and their counterparts at home aren't far apart either.
Ever since the third channel of the television was launched, there was a buzz how they run porn after midnight. They'd simply take it from some satellite channel (which probably existed for station interchange, not for regular viewers) and run it complete with subtitles, just like any regular movie. I had to see that at least that once, and it was rather interesting, because they ran „Barbara Broadcast“, of which I, few decades later, learned that is a sort of a cult classic, being kind of surreal and unglued. My folks were asleep, and I stayed to watch. Well, interesting.
Of course, this wasn't specified in the schedules published in the newspaper, except as „satellite programme“ or some such designation, without detail. So how did I know? Well, Baja told me, and he stumbled into it a week ago. And it didn't stay too long, they stopped some ten days later.
