Finally got a cot. Will sleep nice tonight.

Nobody on our side of the beach got a real sunburn, we're fine. Nina saw one guy sleeping on the beach on his side with the hand on the other side stretched up, so he'd tan his armpit. She did likewise, still got the photo.

Lena is pretty much everybody's favorite, with her disarming smile and general cuteness. Likes the water and, yep, we prefer pebbles and rock beach like this to any sand beach. Sand may be marginally more comfortable to sit or lie on, but then you can find one on rocks as well without fear that any of it will get into your pants, shoes, camera. And the water is clear.

One day, during lunch, Lena had already eaten her share and wandered off between the tables. She was quite safe walking already, so we let her. Few tables away she noticed a boy, maybe a few months older than her, started yelling "bata!" (bro, or little boy) and chasing him. We got them at the other end of the big dining hall, he was running away.

The gossip is thickening. I've just heard, from (I think) Fefi's wife, that Sale has a plan to hire his wife. I didn't really believe it, but then didn't forget either. Just pushed the info into the rear of my mind and made a note to keep my ears open, specially when we return. The atmosphere was probably rather broken at the south end of the beach, but then we went there only once, found it was too shady and stuck with our north end.

One of these days Lena got her first regular, two-part, bathing suit. Once she got her dressed up (we were in Števa's room, having a coffee), she walked the walk, swinging her hips and showing off like a grown up model, with full charge of toddler's charm. Unforgettable.

On the photo, Števa with his wife and daughter, plus Go straddling the fence. Below, me with Nina and Lena.

We met with Stana - she came (with husband and kid) to our beach, and we visited her on another day, they have a little apartment (or were using someone's) in the village.
