Gary is trying to export a dbf into a textfile so he can work with it... which was the start of the utility which I developed later, whereby he could export the whole table into text, then import it back. It was a part of the same app that I'm now using to write this, i.e. zod.

Email to my folks didn't pass the first time, probably too long with the picture, so I resent it in two parts. The picture is of her glueing the wall tiles in the bathroom, the part where the mirror will be [not this picture, this is obviously the bathtub]. News from the email, both sides: Lena has a new chair, the one we got back in 1999 is finally retired. Comment on the building where Go now lives - looks like some villa from XIX century. Sure, except that's only the façade that's done right; other walls are raw brick, no stucco, and the rest doesn't even get a regular spit and polish. Mom had some health trouble again, couldn't sleep properly, slept sitting on the couch alternating with sitting by the monitor. We actually chatted over Trillian for a bit.

Me too, even less. I only take those "man, if you can fix this piece of code with which we were tearing hairs out, you got a beer". The last two Guinness cans I got that way still serve - as ashtrays in my car.
