26-III-2016.

The big do-nothing day. Just went to buy the somersby thing for the young (it's allegedly not the diluted artificial pear liqueur but a genuine pear cider, but smells the same to me - just like any smell will seem artificial after you were exposed to a strong dose of the concentrate), then took a nap (as I woke up rather early then slept 13 hours the next night). Went to pick dad at about scheduled time, and came back just when she was lighting up the fire. By the time we were finished (I held the fort when she was busy elsewhere) Lena and Milan arrived. She's looking... not so much grown up, but adult. Our little girl is a lady (whereby I used the word "gospođa" which also implies "missis", which was taken as part joke), the red dress and makeup and long hair (she kept it short since 2008).

Dad fell asleep while chatting with Nina over Skype. The amp over his left ear fell off; I heard something fell but couldn't see what. We found it later, as it was producing a nasty feedback somewhere around 2KHz.

Two days later I went downtown and bought an unimer... which is a domestic brand name from decades ago. The voltage-current-resistance measuring tool. The one I bought at Radio Shack has died. I even bought the weird little battery, such as I never saw before or later - they still had it, but no, it was kaputt. I've learned that it's one of those tools that you don't need much, but when you do, you need it strongly.
