Called hospital and they said he's free to go. Visited dad to bring him lunch (jučetina, see house dictionary, beans with ham etc) and try to understand what he called about yesterday. It's that the upper acacia forest was sold as land (finally!) for 4000€ but this time the lower one, where the menhirs were, is sold as wood (and we keep the land) just like it was sold several times already, for 400€. He was liberally removing and adding a zero to either amount, but Slavica got it straight for us. She says he's now frequently saying thousand when he means hundred and vice versa, but she got used to it.
Ender had an exciting night at the hospital. He named the first roommate Sanders, and the other one Trump. Trump was nuts, borrowed deodorant and smeared it all over his face; talked about being pals with hospital director; grabbed nurses' butts whenever he could. There was a jailbird next door, with two cops guarding the room, who somehow managed to escape, but they got him before he left the floor. One could hear his voice sink when a sedative was injected.
The Sanders, on the other hand, took his biscuits and ate them all.
The operation was a success, the paperwork actually easy (and their computer even knows proper latin spelling, including šđžčć - no cyrillic, though, except on the pre-printed parts of the forms, and his name, which wasn't translated phonetically but blindly). I congratulated them on being the last stronghold of serbian statehood - there was absolutely no sign printed in english on any of the walls, and it was all cyrillic, just like it should be.
Got out at twelve-something, dropped by Mek on the highway, he got a yearn for it, then went to Lena, who said she'll be rather late for work that day. Stayed for a coffee/tea and went home. The kids were eager to play with their parents, but they were both rather tired from this two-day exercise. I wasn't too tired this time.
