The usual regular visit to Lena and Milan. Took their car to get to the river - we could almost walk there, but it's boring and cold anyway. And the car is spanking new, so we took the opportunity.

Milan, as usual, ordered Karađorđeva šnicla (Blackgeorge's steak), which is pretty much the cordon bleu, heavily adjusted to serbian mores. It's pohovano, tenderized rolled young beef steak with kajmak inside; without it, it's considered a fake. The menu says it should be 350 grams, however this looked far smaller, around 200-ish. It was visibly smaller than last time. He got somewhat pissed off and wanted to pay 200 RSD instead of 800 and to claim that he did give them 800.

This led to yet another "we'll do it ourselves". She started reading the recipes off the net as soon as we got home, so next time she'll make them, only better.
