Our 2nd american guinea pig (not from American Guinea, don't even know whether such a country exists), survived between 2000 and about 2003. The name translates into Little Crumb. The guys at Orion, when I sent an introductory photo of myself with her on my shoulder ("I'm the one with the glasses") asked about her and were bewildered with the lack of vowels around the r - had to explain that r IS a vowel in such situations, in most slavic languages.

We got her while still in A-burg, took her to vacations, several times to Richmond, moved her with everything else to Virginia Beach.
