Lena was on skype. Nina had a shot of herself sitting on a big yoga ball at her desk in the corner. That's my old desk, actually, and its twin we made for Lena ten years ago is now Ender's, in the next corner, and these two desks exactly fit in the space. Amazing.

Was reshooting some slides and/or negatives in the evening, this time making sure that nothing moves and what was focused stays in focus. The tripod with 1,350 kg of eos40 was fixed to the coffee table by a pair of bungee cords. The contraption to hold the frame and backlight was taped to it.

The notebook on the couch contains the cut negatives, which I put together in late seventies, when I was affected with a slight neatness phase. Which turned out to be a problem later, because I cut them to the longest fit, the notebook (romanian) is of A4 format, which means seven frames (which is about 260mm, and the paper is 297mm long). Scanners, then, are made for american market first, where the letter paper is 215,9 x 279,4 mm, which fits six (in the plastic frame where they're fit into the scanner), so even when I finally acquired a scanner, I coudn't scan the whole stripe at once, one was sticking out.

Marinko brought the good wishes from GG, the old foxer (previously from UA, but she's gone to dot net so doesn't call there much), HNY etc.
