The staircase is done. We can go up at will. Cutting the grooves and ribs to connect the foot of it took me weeks, as very little of it was possible to do with machinery. I actually bought a proper carpenter's flat saw and cut it slowly, to measure, until it fit perfectly enough.

In the afternoon we went to visit Lena. Brought her a few cartons of eggs. For lunch we decided to just go a couple of kilometers down the street, to Džakarta.

The soup of the day was Erdinger beer, what with waiter having mastered the skill of pulling out the last shreds of foam from the bottle. It's a special balet that they do, a nice cheap trick to amuse the guests.

The place stayed true to its name. Two tables away I saw a perfect african beauty, very dark and very elegant and with proper curly hair, never straightened.

On monday, two things in parallel - installing stuff at Cincinati (something about CR10 requiring a magic string which I don't have), and about exporting something in the Belrap code (version for 2013, the last one I remember, they don't seem to change the specs as often as the anglos). Feds was at 5.3.5.91.

Marinko complains about some reorganization and now he's completely lost track of the hardware - what's where, what's on it, where does it hook into... I tried to explain how HosTract used to work, and tossed some ideas on how to organize stuff, but then the trouble is, as always with perfect apps, that the imperfect people will enter incomplete data into them, and the stuff will be technicolor shit.

Nina is asking about adapter plugs, whether to buy them or we have them here. I said we did, and later went to buy more, but these were just bad. The prongs had sharp corners, which would inevitably cause some sparks to appear, and the plastic part would often just slide off the metal when you try to unplug. Very bad. And unexpected - the electric stuff around here was of good quality always, so the appearance of junk was quite a surprise.

On 18th finished the bigger part of laying tiles in the future upper bedroom. Found a matching grout, burgundy color, looks great.
