Somehow she turned to be my aunt, although she was a year younger than me. I think we share a grand-grand-grand...-father, to whom she's one knee closer (the knees are the unit of measure for relationship, don't ask).

Her dad was a CEO in one of the textile factories in the city, a real Lala (which is curious, the CEOs were usually Bosnians, Herzegovinians and Montenegrins); her mother was a rather strict woman, from Lika. The mix wasn't unusual, and usually turned out wrong (except in Dragana's case, but there the mother was from here and dad from Lika, maybe that matters).

She was a nice looking girl, with just a bit too much of leg, to the point when she just couldn't sit right on the couch, the long bones getting in the way. Or the couch was too low.

Biting fingernails was her permanent trait. I don't remember whether she ever grew them long enough to apply polish.

We were in the same classroom from 4th grade (or thereabouts, in VIII₂) until end of gimnazija in IV_5pp, except one year when she was in the so-called "female class", in 1st grade. She went on to graduate economy, got a job, got married to some guy (not the twin of Joška she was with most of the high school time), and then couldn't concieve, maybe due to her wild years (consequences of an abortion, unconfirmed). Then they both started drinking, a lot. She broke a few bones in a crash, and last I saw her, in 2005, she was wearing a crutch.

She slowly died of alcohol. Spent final weeks in a coma. Her parents being long dead, her husband immediately went to try to snatch their appartment from her sister, as I heard from my parents when we returned. The said apartment was in Lesnina, with Duca living in the same entrance, and Dragana and Lidija in the next.

Allegedly the whole family, on her father's side, was sort of cursed. My mom told me how her grandfather had four sons, and when he was just too old to live alone, he tried to move to each of the sons, but not one would take him - so the curse, she said, fell upon them. OTOH, I'm wandering what kind of man can make all of his children be so... chances are four to one that he was the wrong one.
