11-V-1990.

By some miracle I found a file from goods warehousing and invoicing somewhere in the main ledger zip, one of, by which I know I did something for LebarProm last night around 1:00.

This time I took the girls with me. When she finally appeared, they jumped the dividing line and just surrounded her. The guy checking the luggage on x-ray was bewildered with what he saw - an incomprehensible mesh of thin lines, thousands of them. She said, "I'm a doctor, these are acupuncture needles". She bought seven thousand of them.

She also brought two snake skin bags (from Karači, sold one later to Brata's wife), a dozen lengths of silk of varying designs and textures; four silk shirts for me, a silk jacket for me; sandalwood fans; several vases and jugs; a foggy glass egg painted inside; chopsticks; incense sticks and whatnot. And a couple of "I climbed the great wall" t-shirts for me; I rather took them to mean "I built the great wall" because of that garage wall that's sitting on the terrace edge.

The stories she'd have to tell about how people live in China and then that one day in Pakistan (cops walking hand in hand, obviously gay) would last for years.
