Been to Richmond again.

The oldwave mentioned Laurie Anderson for a while. Just hit the spot... Go just had enough of praise for the lady that her professors had, because Laurie graduated there... and is possibly their only alumnus ever who got any spotlight. I better not mention her, because I know what oration will I get in return. And I don't even know how many years was that story old.

On the way back, stopped at a gas station somewhere I think 14 miles out. I memorized the place with the intention of never again getting my gas there. The dispenser was talking to me. Or, rather, at me, offering more amenities and stuff to get in the shop and restaurant they have. Knowing that there must be cameras and potentially microphones, I shouted at it, looked at all the possible places where the shutup button may be, found none. Totally pissed off (I'm giving you money that I could spend elsewhere, and you're forcing me to listen to advertising - fuck off!), I just stopped pumping before half a tank, paid and drove off.

Later on UA I heard this is supposed to be a test program at some 40000 Exxon's pumps. Well, Exxon, you're blacklisted for a couple of years because of this. Or permanently, for that matter - any company which even tries something like this is not getting money from me.

At home, cucumber grows nicely, tomatoes grow too.
