26-VII-2019.

On friday 26th, we went to Klincaid in the morning and distilled the last apricot for this season - quite good altogether. We're running out of cask space, had to pour from larger into smaller ones, to make room for this year's tutifruti.

When we returned, I was irritated by pretty much everything. When Raja started playing some advertising on his tablet during the lunch, I didn't want to burst out shouting (few things are forbidden in the house, very few, but among the few, advertising and propaganda rank in single digits), Nina called me, in a thinly veiled manner, passive-aggressive. That annoyed me endlessly, it's pretty much a diagnose and there's no defense from such an accusation, whatever you do can be construed as further proof. So I was sulking it out, smoking a lot, sitting in the back yard. Even asked for a hug from Violet, just like she does when she feels like shit.

To make things worse, Dragan called in the afternoon. The bad news is that Silvija was diagnosed with "generalised bone cancer". Currently troubled with heavy constipation - which means they're stuffing her with opiates. If she recovers she'd be an addict. Phew.

On Saturday afternoon, Lena came with her friend - one of the five Rebeccas she collected between her 1st middle school and the end of high school. This one is a mathematician (teacher). They share the slightly geeky humor (where pun is not a bad word), they even look somewhat alike, and even dressed nearly identically. They spent the day with us. Had good lunch and slaughtered a watermellon after.

In the afternoon we took the whole gang downtown, to Prleski. Then came back and ordered two large pizzas from „Napoli“... everything fine.

I was close to bursting only once, afterwards. Beautiful weather, slightly muggy but with some breeze. Still, I haven't calmed down at all.
