Nina started crawling. She'll start walking in a couple of months. The kitchen floor was some 15cm lower than the room, but she negotiated the difference easily.
The mirror in the rear window was once in the anteroom, until it became partly bathroom, and then didn't have a proper place until we adopted it here. Roughly in the place of the once outhouse.
The table had to be walked around. It's about 120cm across, and is flush with the left wall. It still serves, and so do all the chairs. Also some slovenian make.
Leafing through this in september of 2024 (which I often do, and find various things to mend - balance color on old photos, fix a case on some name, fix a whole sentence if I find it confusing or plain wrong), I noticed that she's there in the lobby, vacuuming. That cleaner was a smallish thing, east german, got the job done and for our 32 square meters we didn't need a bigger [one]. Bought it because we didn't feel like borrowing my folks' [one] every so often.
We bought the bunk bed last year, while we waited for her to give birth. Go was already too big to slip in the baby bed, and now Nina needed it. The good side of it is that it can be dismantled into two beds. Over the years it mostly served as one bed in use, one stowed in the attic, until 2018. when it finally became two beds. And that may not be quite final.
Go quickly got used to climbing, to the point when she'd come down in her sleep, walk around me (I'd be sitting in the kitchen after midnight, coding something or just playing), go to the bathroom, return and continue sleeping. In the morning she wouldn't remember the trip at all.
The door behind the bed lead to my once room, now granny's.
The snow was huge that winter. We dressed the kids well and went for a walk, don't know how far. There are photos until the end of the street.
The Citroen CX across the street belongs to Đuđa's son-in-law (or future one). He is a story unto himself.
The piece of plastic left of the tote bag is Nina's toy tricycle trumpet, which I also put on my bike at times. It didn't suit me to have a bell, so I bought a real, post coach style trumpet, nickel with rubber squeeze ball, which then someone nicked off my bike, then I used this toy, then bought a plastic one, again, all neon pink with black rubber squeeze ball.
The bag I brought from the vojska. Dad's old blue canvas bag fell apart meanwhile, wasn't even thirty years old. I used it to carry praktika and what accessories I'd have. zx spectrum was usually under the papers on the near side of the TV, but seeing as its antenna cable isn't plugged in, it was probably stashed away when this was shot.
Meanwhile in Belgrade, the first issue of the new magazine „Računari u vašoj kući“ (computers in your home), later just „Računari“ was published. It contained the complete schemata and instructions to make your own „prvi domaći mikroračunar“ aka prdomir* (first domestic microcomputer), „Galaksija“.

* prdeti - to fart; there are many male names ending with -mir, so this sounds like a real name
