Silvija's and Dragan's kids' tworthday, in the same rođendaonica in Čurda where the last year's one was. We came a tad earlier, to catch a good parking spot on the street. I did learn the ropes about maneuvering the van, but not quite at night and in an unknown yard, which left an impression as being quite tight (well it wasn't, but it was dark last time - this time we had great setting sun hitting all windows, great light, good shots).
They set themselves up as serene, he rather successfully, she quite sleepily. Belly even larger. She's in a wheelchair. We all wish her happy getting better (srećno ozdravljenje - happy behealthing) while just gauging the probability that this may be the last time we saw her, or that she would recognize us if we meet again.
So they played the whole programme to the tee, what with carting out the two cakes with the sparklers, singing „today we have a wanderful day“ and that twice, once for Jagoda once for Milan (his birthday was fisix days ago, hers is in a week).
At the left table, the dozen pixels on the left border belong to madam mama, that's the as much as I was unable to avoid her. The rich blonde hair is on the head of some pal of hers (could she be her kuma?). The rest of folks at that table and all of the right table is Silvija's friends, herself being out of frame at the further end of the right table, in a wheelchair. Standing by is Boba. Middle table Dragan, she, Nina, kids and Dragan's parents with backs turned.
The entertainer* girls (zabavilje) knew their job and unobtrusively directed children into the next number, and on their side the kids expect and understand those hints. Those not quite native were easy to spot - Raja and Violet not only didn't understand the instructions, they also didn't understand what other kids were doing and couldn't guess what's next thing to do. Had fun all the same.
