09-IX-2015.

Violet got sick yesterday. More or less all day she puked, much of it just water. Whole set of bedcloth and towels went to wash, and the floor was mopped several times. Today she was almost out of it, but it hit Raja and Ender and specially Nina as she puked her guts out. It got me somewhere around 4:15, that gut wrench turning a few degrees, and that "I feel it coming" feel. Well, I decided to show it who's boss, so I slowly walked down the stairs (we are sleeping upstairs, in the little room with the 75 bottles of fresh tomato juice and all those sewing machines), took my time to assume a proper posture above the porcelain, and then said to my guts they can show what they can do now. The feeling subsided, so I just went to the terrace to dry the sweat and it all went fine.

This is Raja and Neša, the two fierce players.

In the afternoon (Go, Stanley, Neša, and we two) went to Čankovo to distill some brandy. Stanley is getting good with his serbian language and was rather helpful around the still.

It's nice to have a driver sometimes, so I can just shoot around. This is the other curve, with the, ahem, cliff before it. The height thereof is almost 1,5m.

Lena sent me a copy of her tax payment, to take to Njujork tax office, in case they don't get it until monday.

At suština mailing list: "Strictly adhering to the diet and all the advice, in only fourteen days I lost two weeks!".

Another email from a colleague from maths, they plan to gather on 03-X-2015.. This time not only generations '53 to '55, but also '56, so they have enough people to fill that restaurant where there's so much echo. In the end, I didn't go because that day we had a big family gathering in zanatlija. Judging by the photos, canvassing the younger batch didn't quite work.
