27-VII-2018.

Lena and Milan came for lunch. Didn't make the usual Karađorđe steak (he's on a LCHF diet, and this has the flour+eggs around, it's pohovano), but instead I ordered ćevapčići and grilled neck and sausages from promes - all excellent this time.

This autopatch is from that little sidestreet, so promes is to the left, on the corner; behind is 25. maj to the right and its newer part (built 10 years later) on the left, behind all those trees. Entrance to Zmaj is 50m behind.

And made a little tour first, because the stonecutter's shop called to say they've finished. So I took the eos70, went to the cemetery, took shots (they did everything right, and then a bit better than that). The lighter patch on the wall happened this winter, when they had to break the wall to be able to bring the stuff for another grave nearby - there was no other way to maneuver everything but to make a temporary hole in the wall. The funeral lots are so densely packed in that quarter of the cemetery, there are no paths and all the frames are of different height and type, it's outright dangerous to walk there.

Then drove to their shop behind kinta and enjoyed a nice chat with the old man and his son. Then paid the 120000 RSD (at the going rate of 118 RSD = 1€) and discovered they don't have the card scanner, so I'd have to visit another time. No, they have a little shop downtown, the other son is holding it, I can drop by anytime. Went downtown, visited the serekeš and picked the rest, found the shop and paid, then went to promes with 20 minutes to spare. Actually on time, they already finished it. Nice... so went home and messaged Lena about time estimate. Said she's here in the police office, waiting to be called to get her driver's license done, so start putting the noodles in the soup.

So it was another nice lunch and a nice chat afterwards. Milan has the next gig lined up, working for the best customer from the previous job, they just love the editor he started making there, and it being open source they'd love him to continue with it on their fork of it. Lena still has five exams from the third year, but plans to nick off two of them by october. She's expecting an interview with Ubisoft. Well, that's a company that's older than you, they used to write games for zx spectrum back then. Actually this is Ubisoft Serbia, subcontracting parts of the work, but it seems interesting and promising. Doesn't pay too well, but hey it will be a nice notch on the belt.

When they left, with all the eggs, meat and tomatoes (forgot to return the umbrella), had a chat with Nina within minutes. The plan is that Lena goes there to help her with getting the house to be closable and possibly rentable, and then they all come here together. I was already going through ads to buy a minibus, found one Citroën for 3500€ that I like.

Then the plan started changing... because Go and Stanley would like to help too, and they may come for a month before Lena gets there and then they could all come here, or they could come to be here while Lena stays, or wait a minute, if they're coming then she need not go at all.

So the plans are in a flux. We'll see over the weekend.
