They're coming! The day before I found a cabbie at the bus station who has a Fiat Multipla, the ugliest van in the world, but it would be just enough to fit all of us and the bags. Dropped by the place that Lena sub-leased from Pasa's daughters to pick some of her stuff, then went to the airport.

The cabbie tried to avod the thick crowd on the boulevard and Kneza Miloša (though that's downslope...), so he tried to reach Brankov bridge from underneath, and got stuck even worse. Would have done better via Terazijski tunnel, but then hey, he's driving for a fixed fee, so... his choice.

They were, off cross*, the last out of baggage claim. Ender was appropriately amazed at the ugliness of the van. The little Raja had a diaper change first (so cute!).

Don't remember much else, didn't take too many pictures.

On 11th they were pretty much all asleep, so we didn't do much and didn't go anywhere. On 12th, however, Nina wanted to take a walk, to my parents, which is exactly 2km on foot. At around 1,4km Ender had to take a break. The weather was just sunny, no clouds but no breeze either, a properly warm spring day.

Mom was very glad to be a grand-grand-mother, all foggy eyed and, well, just happy. Dad had trouble trying to pronounce the japanese name, and while he didn't quite dislodge his tongue, he immediately found the nearest serbian name. The next day even Nina was using it. It just slides through the cases.

Their luggage came when we returned.

Just had to put here the first shot of me posing as a grandfather. Everybody else already had at leasf five or six shots with Raja, this is my first. So, done.

(the colorful box with flowers behind me is zmajček... (... 4 words...). I just hate how those PCs are, from day one, ugly gray or drab boxes. Hiding them in furniture doesn't work, you need access to the cables and they need air to cool... so, paint.
