18th we went to Čankovo. They have dug a ditch through our lawn - well, they did that all over the village. Introducing gas pipeline. They cut many branches from the trees - the branches I probably would have cut myself if I was in the mood and had the time. Now I'll only have to gather them and stock them in the big shed, where it's already branches almost all the way to the roof, since I was cutting unwanted trees a lot, and haven't even started gathering what majstor Mile has cut this january when the fence was made.

There also was a snake under the coffee table on the terrace, who wasn't too fast so I made two shots. It's a belouška (white-eared), harmless. Just had to post this pic on burundi and check with those who know.

On 19th we took the girls for a ride again, first to the playground at the community center, then to the bus station. Got them a sandwich, because they didn't want to leave, and were getting kind of nervous. Sanda ate half of hers, Linda wouldn't touch it. By the end of it, they got really nervous, specially Sanda, and I had trouble getting her back on the bike, and then keeping her still enough to keep the bike going straight. When we got home, they went to sleep almost instantly. We got them tired okay.

Now that even dentists have reopened, Nina had scheduled another session in Lena's neighborhood, so we finally took the van again and went through the usual scenario. Amazingly, we packed and started without much of the usual delay, it seems we all know the drill now. We stayed in the park near Lena's place, where the kids had a lot of fun and didn't even notice much that mom's away. Even Raja found a pal - a kid of roughly his age, maybe a couple of years older, who learned english from youtube, and they were talking about games, gaming hardware etc etc, at near pro level. After second turn of icecream, Nina reappeared - this time there was not much work to do, this being just retightening the braces and regluing the few of those thingies that come between the tooth and the brace.

We went for another dinner at Pitch. They also reopened and were back in business, the food being as good as always. The kids had their regular pomfrit (aka french fries), double dose for the four of them, which they cleaned in no time, so third plate was ordered. Milan was busy with some stuff at work, but then after that he went out to take Api for a walk, and they dropped by. So at least we talked for a bit.
