15-III-2013.

The exhibition by DC-99 in Dom, same space as in november 1978. Since we're now all completely digital, we had to have something printed to exhibit, and arrangement was made with Mongol to give us members a one-time discount. So I went there a week or two ahead, met with the guy, had a nice chat, and printed my two shots, which I then brought to the next club meeting.

These two.

The exhibition was a nice success. The revamped club was back in its old glory. Saw a lot of younger people, the new generations of amateur photographers, and there were many good ones, some with very interesting ideas. Lena was with me. On the shots I see, of course, Miško, V.M. (the photo shop near Jasmina's pharmacy), the guy who used to sell ads for Novosti and now does for local weekly (met him when I was posting the obituary for mom), Živa, I.P. (who worked at the weekly for many years), Joška, and a few whose names I don't remember, only faces.

Somehow Brlja was now also an active member and wasn't bad as a photographer, did have some atmosphere on his shots. Which made it more and more awkward for me to come to club meetings, specially when he was elected president of the club. As I write this he begins to remind me of Kid, who first took over my former girlfriend then my sound system and eventually wanted even to buy off the škodilak. This guy took over the apps, the GenerAll, most of the customers and now the club. So at some later meaning I just told him „if you're curious why I'm not talking to you, look into your pockets, it should become clear“. Because while we went a had a few tezga while in Avai (where we owned 40 and 20% respectively), he cheated me on that, sold the TaxiSys five times and paid me only once. And then I gradually stopped coming to the meetings. I have no wish to see him.

Suez and I were trying to dig out some file, which I thought he had and vice versa, David said it must be somewhere on my disk, then we looked into Sugar to find it. Found a reference to it but not the file itself, but at least got the exact name, still not found on my disk but found it in an email from 2009, from our doctor, but it was sent in Outlook, and in such a format that I couldn't extract it.

For CAAR et al, I somehow put together the versions for 5.3 and 6.0, so I wouldn't have to keep the two separately and synchronize them manually, which had caused two bugs already. It's one version now, but Laura said she wasn't calling about that, it's... and then we went on about the exact meaning of „usable after thaw“ and „cryopreservation“. Semantical nuances cause differences in counting of each. There's no end to it.

In Feds I added an alternate startpage on patient form, done as a web page and hosted in an instance of IE in the form itself. While IE is really the worst browser ever, there's hardly any other blunder to which m$ stuck stubbornly for years, but even so it looks better and is more nimble - it's some seven-eight tabular views on various data the patient has, in arbitrary selection and order, as per user's preference. There's a bunch of things in there which are links, but not to other web pages. I'm catching any attempts to navigate away, and from the url (which I put there) I decide what the user wanted to see, and go to that page, or even another form, in the Feds itself. So it really works by a single click. One of better things I ever wrote.

But Laura didn't like some parts of it, asked to add a couple extra blocks, which I did, and polished stuff when I found the time, she still didn't like it, others stayed mum, so I eventually gave up, stopped demoing it and let it be forgotten.
