Zina

(Person, Yugoslavia)

Dad's neighbors', second house up (in the unintuitive sense that 'up' is to the city center, and 'down' is away, though it's impossible to build cities on hills here), fourth child. He sort of adopted her as his own fourth granddaughter. We saw her first in 2005 when we visited, then repeatedly when we returned.

Her grandfather was a mason, not too good. He built Faik's house so clumsily that no windows would fit, and the terrace visibly drooped to the left. Tt had to suffer a lot of redoing to finally accept some windows. His built his own fence wall to the neighbor's (Susjed's - see house dictionary) yard, and that wall fell.

Luckily, the daughter and grandchildren turned out right, they are OK people and good neighbors.
