Published the article on suština about that Status Quo concert in 1971. Probably wrote it a day or two before, because of the complicated process of publishing. Boća and prob'ly Stinge and most of the other guys use some m$'s shitty offline editor, which then connects to the Wordpress engine of the blog and uploads stuff (probably using some API, it must have it). Actually, Boća doesn't even use that, he sends the saved article to Škrba who then loads it in his own editor and then publishes from it. I use the built-in online editor, which is just fine with me - does what I need, doesn't have much of unused features, good.
But then to avoid possible clashes, like publishing two articles in the same hour, the protocol was to enter it in Gugao's calendar, which I didn't like, because it then connected even more dots for the google to know about me. What with the another layer of tracking and other big brother rules they introduced this summer, I really didn't like it, but hey, I've generally given up on all things google except search and maps, so OK.
In the mail there was some reference to a scheduling snafu, whereas Škrba moved this article forward (closer to the day of posting, though that's actually backwards - into the past; when they say "pushed back" it usually means "later in the future").
At work, rebuilding several features of upFeds. Introducing verbosity levels in the log (and actually having two levels of logging, the terse one scrolling onscreen just to show progress and report errors, and the full one with everything it did. Something about wrapping the rebuild of each table (if rebuilding) into a transaction. When rebuilding a table, drop all indexes first. Find a way out of collation sequence clashes, as we'd sometimes have default sequence inherited from jurassic times of who knows which british clinic where the database originated, and then any tables added later would have a different collation from the current server, and just comparing two character fields, or a field and a string literal, would crash the query if the two had different collations.
