Mom's friend. A bit plump, pretty, with high tapirana hairdress - never saw her without one. She was married to an airforce pilot, a rather nice guy (and a pilot!) but he was from Bosnia and was supposed to feed a whole bunch of relatives, with which she didn't agree. Her lifestyle was that of a modern working girl, with sunglasses, fashionable dress, cozy apartment (even though it was in the so-called "kolonija šećerana", i.e. the workers' houses built before WWI, at the edge of town, later surrounded with the rest of the industrial zone), a record player with almost every possible pop record of the time. I remember hearing lots of twist (the fashionable dance at the time) when we visited her. That's when I first had a single, and then an album (albeit 10 inch) in my hands.
Her brother was a funny guy.
Her mom worked at kantina and last I heard had to retire prematurely - some murky business there. Mom mentioned that in passing once, and from that I don't know whether any theft was proven and whether any police was involved, just that she lost the job.
