Visited Arpi in the hospital. This time I got right there to the place where he was - two days ago we all waited and waited and tried to get some info on where he was at the moment and the best we got was "not in intensive care anymore, but not in the cardiology yet", with phones being misdirected, doors not opening etc so we gave up, and he finally got there an hour later. This time I got there alone and kept him company until Silvija with kids and Boba came with two sarma.
I've offered to pay for a surgery at a private hospital, and to use the car for as long as he needs it - we can mostly use the van and the bikes, so it's not that we need the saxo that much. The offer is on the table, but he said he's got to do a series of tests before he gets to that stage, plus he's got paperwork completed for a three week stay in Niška Banja (a spa with somewhat radioactive water). We'll see.
In other news, Lena and Milan acquired Api. Them being programmers, they easily agreed on the name :). They already agreed with the landlord to remove the fluffy carpet and a few other sensitive pieces of furniture, and they now have most of the apartment adjusted to living with a dog.
