Dark blue, five door, 1,1l gasoline engine, it served us between may 2011 and march 2021. Never left us on the road, only twice on the street. Once when its bendix wouldn't unclutch so it eventually killed the battery; second and last time when its timing belt broke and I just wouldn't be bothered to pour 500€ into a car not worth more than 800€. It took us all the way to Bulgaria, three times to Vrnjačka, twice to Palić, once to Szeged, and a couple of hundred times to Čankovo. It was our workhorse and garden cart for almost ten years. Still serves well, some kid in Melenci will probably find all the stuff about reclining the seats that we never bothered to find out.
It cost me less than 100€ a year, including the initial 2300€, twice shock absorbers, three sets of tyres, two batteries, a starter, clutch with flywheel, two chimneys, one muffler, one set of headlights, two of backlights, one painting of the hood and about ten balancings.
It was a special edition, partly serving as advertisement for the BIC company, which makes razors (good enough) and cigarette lighters (the best), so the upholstery had some designs woven in; behind the right rear door there was a BIC's sticker (which held tight for 20 years), the gear shift handle was a yellow ball, as were the door lock buttons. Each seat belt was in different color.
