The heir to decomp, pretty much the same model, just ten years younger. The laptop/tablet combo, where the screen swings 360 degrees, with touchscreen and pencil, solid state disk (though not really a SSD, I'd say it's just a larger and better SD card) so no fans and no motors, requires very little juice. Its 11 inch screen is hi-rez (1920x1280 or so), the fonts and icons come initially too small.
The reason I bought it is that it had Windows 10. Other such machines have Android, which is the tough choice - do you like your machine to be owned by the Gugao or by m$? Well, the latter, because W10 I know how to kill. It stayed one day. That's how long it took me to install Linux Mint on it. The name means cinnamon in serbian, that's because it does have the cinnamon session manager (or some such thing), which I liked as a name.
Almost all of its first year it stayed on the chair upstairs, where I'd use it to read books and/or watch stuff during cigarette breaks. I bought it online, from Newegg as usual, delivery at Nina's, so she and Lena brought it when they came here in on 05-XI-2018.. Then we wouldn't smoke inside, at least not on ground floor, while we have four children in the house. While we mostly smoked on the terrace, in the evening we'd do it upstairs front room, because we slept there (in the back room).
It melted in the fire of 11-X-2023..
