05-XI-2018.

Got up in the morning on time. We still slept on the couches, just like we did last two or three nights, as our bed was probably still slightly moist after we dismantled it, took upstairs (to Lena's former room in the corner) and she washed the mattress with the new former extractor.

The van ran fine, and even the part where it goes through Belgrade (actually bit of Zemun and Bežanija) was uneventful. Not as nimble as the saxo, but it got there swimmingly and on time.

Their plane landed just 9 minutes late - the weather may be too nice, this being the worst draught in memory, but windy it was. The landing appeared on the monitors four minutes later, and that's when Milan appeared - there was some accident on the road so traffic stalled. Lena sent a couple of messages on their progress, so we knew to get Kinder eggs (prohibited in the US, it's more dangerous than AR-16).

The baby seats didn't quite fit. Actually did but tightening them up didn't quite work, because we were overcrowded. We packed in somehow and drove home. Last 30km I had moments when I felt sleepy. Probably too warm and the last coffee was small and more than two hours ago.

The babies are just too sweet.

There were three technical things I asked for, and they all arived. The audio switcher, which flips the output from the zmajček's sound card to one plug or another, i.e. from the amplifier to headset or vice versa (about 10$); the remote for eos70 (about 15$, can be found for 6 but both of these were bought in Manilla), and the replacement for decomp - the cimet. The little gadgets aren't sold here (three years later I saw the remote, but don't know where it was bought), and the little Acer may be available but I didn't have the patience. Haven't found anything of the kind here, and the nearest one was much worse but more expensive. Everyone here said I had a very good deal here.
