We were supposed to finally visit Lena and Milan yesterday, to see the apartment, but they didn't quite coordinate the days off, so he was working. Postponed for today, but no go again - Nina fucked up her digestion by leaning too strongly on her keto diet. True, she got 3kg off in a week by eating just meat and boiled eggs, but by yesterday she wasn't feeling well, slept a lot and had a nausea-like feeling below her tongue. Finally, yesterday she puked her soul out, couldn't even drink water, just slept more. Then we meant to delay for tomorrow, but then they had planned some going out on thei own - it's her 30th birthday - and Nina still isn't quite okay. She managed to keep some tomato soup (... 3 words...), which I'll take as a good sign.

Yesterday Zelena brought her five kittens. Three dark gray, two light, all fuzzy. Just when we came down to only foud (Rundek, Džimi and the two small ones, Dženifer and Amelija). Violet already got her gears into a naming convention, she feels it's her duty to give names to all the kittens.

We kept going to Čankovo practically every other day. I've finished mowing where I meant to - the back of the orchard can be left for later, when there'll be fruit - so I went on to finally remove the last heaps of garbage, now well mixed with soil and grass, and the grass that gathered in the cracks. Begins to look like something.

As for the frendz parties, she decided that she won't have them anymore. We've told everything to each other, what we wanted to tell, and then repeated lots of it several times. And the scenario stays the same each time, with minor variations. On top of it, we just can't eat that much so late in the day, we're completely out of the habit, it actually throws us off balance. She just said I'll keep seeing them when the org committee for the big maturski starts meeting in the fall, so it's not that we're cutting off contact. It's that the novelty had worn off.

On ninth I noticed the change of light in the dayroom. Ah, the bulb died and finally got replaced with a new, white one. The yellow was crawling over severall of my even and odd organs, the color is a miss, the shots look as if peed on. Not even proper color balancing in Raw doesn't get it quite right. Turned out the bulb wasn't dead, it was that Nina wanted a sidelight in her room and took the flex desk light, aka goose, and didn't like the white light, so the rooms swapped bulbs. A winny winny.

On eleventh we started the noodles season. Both barrels are near empty, we had soup often. Waited for the hens to start laying again, and they did. We already have about 120 eggs. At leaast 80 go to Lena, and still the rest is more than we can use, even with making pancakes three times a week and pohovano every now and then. The new noodle cutter gadget got stuck soon, because the dough was too wet and clogged somewhere. We mounted the small slovenian plastic one, and finished the batch on time. Timing is important, because the flattened dough dries at its own speed, and has to be cut when the humidity in it is about right. If it dries too much, the edges and tips break off and stay between the cylinders, which is a waste of time, they need to be taken out. Done right, it goes smooth. As usual, the whole batch took two and a half hours - half an hour to knead the dough, then about three hours later two more hours to flatten and shred.

Twelfth, gloomy and rainy, rather dark inside. Raja and Violet switching shifts into day - until tuesday they went to sleep during our morning coffee, now they go between lunch and evening, she first, he near dark.

Linda made a character in a game and named it Dragana. Even gave it a dog. I'll have to tell her.
