Spent the day in Čankovo, we did a lot of work. We spread the plastic foil over a row and planted strawberries in the holes. The trouble was how to fix it so the wind can't lift it. We made some wire hooks, which we poked into the ground. It worked, but in the end we didn't like it. If it's to be dug ever again, the wire will be trouble, and if the wind still finds a way, it will then tear the foil exactly at the holes made by the wire. Shoveling dirt over the edges is much simpler, and that's what we started doing next year.
We lunched empirially (ha!), our egg, with the yolk of proper domestic color, not the pale industrial. The onion, of course, just picked fresh.
I took the new motor grindstone, just the kind we had over there ten years ago, just the motor seems a bit stronger. Don't know quite when, but one of these days Faik asked me if I had a grindstone, exactly when we returned, on the day when I took it to Čankovo. Said he only needs the axe sharpened. Ah, gimme that axe, I'm going there tomorrow as well, will sharpen it there and bring it back. Did so, and he was happy with it.
Not quite the first time this happened, but this time I made a screenshot. I played bejewelled2 and it went just fine.
The monthly high and the all time high (on this site only) are mine. This is much better, but to get to this score one has to play for hours. It seems something happens with Firefox's engine during that time, so you get stuck with missing pieces - which shouldn't be there, the point of the game is that you have 64 pieces at all times, and need to line them up in rows of 3 to max five (theoretically you can get to seven, but it doesn't count that, five is the max). So, this is a bug and the result is preserved only as this screenshot.
Few entries in the logs from fes, it seems it was the version which scanned the directories in the background while the slideshow went on. This eventually had to stop, and I separated the scan from the slideshow. It was more trouble than it was worth.
On suština, Škrba is looking for someone to be dežurni while he's in Vienna and Stinge is touring east and south Serbia, seems to be a photo safari. I volunteered more of my tavern photos, can do that at any time.
