A screen savior which I wrote. Then wrote a series of articles at Škrba's blog about how I wrote it. It's a slideshow, runs the pictures from selected folders. Which already exists since Windows 7, but that one doesn't keep records, it scans folders each time, and starts from the same spot each time and doesn't cover the 2nd monitor. Fes even picks the portrait pics for the right monitor because it detects that I'm keeping it upright.
It even keeps score on each photo, which is decreased every time it's shown, so the frequently viewed ones' rank sinks, and the new ones have a big advantage. The formula to pick a new photo is biased squarely to 0,75, so the newer shots show up more often.
Uploaded to UA in 2018, the fox version. Since the wine under linux stopped recognizing the šćđ around 2023, any photos with such characters in their path became inaccessible to it, I decided to retamp the whole thing into Python. Which I did in three days, miracle one.
