The hens are still around the yard, since 31st. The rainy spring made everything grow like crazy, so we couldn't possibly keep up with the weeds at both the garden and the back yard. Knowing that hens will pluck out anything that grows, we let them out and waited for them to clean it all up (and shit all over... as they once said about a sponzoruša, „has two brain cells more than a hen, so she doesn't shit in the yard“).

The brokenek (v. house dictionary) hen of which we took special care, took it out, kept it separately, washed its butt, fed her by hand and whatnot, got snatched by a stray dog, which somehow found a big enough hole under the fence.

The new circular saw arrived. This one from Einhell, a noname name for what I know, but then we already had some of their stuff (I think the drill) and it proved to be the right stuff, just not famous. So okay.

In the afternoon she put together the frame for the new table. (... 79 words...)

The circular saw came in a box, and in the evening we took to assembly. Nothing complicated, just a dozen of screws in the right places, to put the legs to the mainboard and fasten the motor to it. With cigarette breaks etc took us less than three hours.

On 6th, the IV₄ made their regular parastos, this time on a ship. Not that I wasn't invited - Bajlo did call me when we were in Bukovička Banja - but I declined, because Nina was coming soon and we were all in preparation mode. Perhaps I could have gone, I see there weren't many shots done that day, so we were probably doing just about nothing - but somehow I don't like the combination of drinking, being on a small ship and carrying eos40 at the same time. Bajlo, however, did bring me the photos they had, from someone's cell phone, so I see the whole gang was there. From IV_5pp, Mima, Dragana, he; from IV₄ Gavra, Žuca, Milica, Duca, Ildika, J.B., Vlada, T. Pasa, Vladimira, few whose names have no pages here, and of course Jozda.

On 7th, crop time in Čankovo - onion is drying in the smaller shed, we got green bell peppers, three crates (!) of garlic... and again jungle everywhere. Like Škrba's wife said on the samurai gathering, „never saw such an unneat garden“. Well, yes, such is the year.
