We had Lena and Milan for lunch. I was a bit late, because I was attending a funeral - father of Milica died at age of 92, respectable age indeed. There were a lot of people but mostly her friends (or husband's), as the guy surely outlived his generation. We came as pretty much the same gang as always (Jasmina with husband, Bajlo, Dragana, but also Milica with her husband - retired cop, ah, well, whole ruža is cops and military, in some cases more generations). Savka came separately (well they are best friends since 1st grade or before), looking younger again. While walking to the car, a tiny girl of indeterminate age walked by me and we exchanged looks as in "do you know who I am", which she then said and the voice filled the picture. Eči's wife. All sweet etc, and looking good... but I asked no questions (even though I know their daughter's name, and that she was once ill of something relatively serious), because she is one of the few people I don't like to meet or be seen with. She's the boss of tax office in the municipality, she signs those papers, and she was dirty with the system as early as nineties. She was a member of Sloba's inspection brigades, which would be sent to raid small shops and enterprises (never at home, usually at least 150km away) and find anything, usually with the amount to extract listed in the schedule, next to company name. They got about 10000 DEM each back then, which is more than my whole company was worth at the time. How much money was squeezed out, nobody knows.

When I arrived, the new stereo stroller was at the door, and the soup was still warm. The classical sunday lunch like we always had whenever we could (have the people, food was almost never a problem) - soup, Karađorđe steak plus some plain steaks (from leftover meat), russian salad.

Lena started working for that Frankfurt gang. He started several weeks ago, she delayed her start while she was with Nina.

After lunch we mounted the TV. Nina and I went to buy TV and a hanger for it two days ago, and now it was up to Milan and me to hang it on the wall, while baba and Lena took Sanda and Linda for a test ride. Which we did more or less swimmingly (i.e. the holes just wouldn't go straight but the error was corrected later, the hanger has some fudge factor to it). Then we also mounted a little shelf (which we made) and then screwed up the power strip to its underside.

Eventually Raja and Violet could get their PS4 controllers and Nintendo Switches on and play whatever they want. Netflix also works.

Before and after this, Violet kept playing some thing called „Gacha studio“, something to change clothes and other parts of the looks of the characters in the game of the same name. Don't remember whether she played the game much, but the studio was her favorite (phrase „...is my favorite“ was also a favorite). Just like all such games, it had some cheap music, just a piano or other single instrument, and it looped endlessly after barely a dozen bars. Annoyed me for months.

She did watch some music videos, and I was astonished that it was mostly solid pop - okay, lots of autotune, lots of repetition (perhaps on sixteen bars), but still not as bad as I feared it would be. But the game background music simply didn't count as music to her, she probably didn't even notice it at all, but I did. Annoyed me endlessly for at least a year, then switched to something else.
