01-VI-2020.

First of all, the draught is over. Some heavy rain fell today, a few times. Violet finally got up on time - was mostly going to sleep some time in the morning and would wake up late in the evening, with Raja doing the same just an hour earlier. Their 25 or 6 (to four) hour day finally matched ours, so we could go to buy that bicycle for her birthday. After lunch we got into the van and I drove to the same bike shop where we bought two bicycles almost ten years ago. It's just next door to Jasmina's old pharmacy (still closed, still not sold). It started with a bike for her, but then Sanda and Linda wanted one each, and then Nina wanted one too - well, she isn't going out much at all, and the bike may be the way.

While we were there, a big rain came and went. We put the three smaller bikes into the van, and Nina rode hers home. A classic job, that bike, with the counter-pedal brake in the rear head, no gear shift. At least a proper caliper brake in front, and LED lights with almost a simple switch - the front light has two on positions (light, flash) and you have to remember to hold it for 4 seconds to turn it off. At least the rear one has a simple switch, not the crazy 8 position software flip, with light, 6 different flashing patterns, off ().

In the evening, we gathered at Dragana again - eleventh frendz parti. We walked, as usual, and for the first time arrived few minutes ahead of Borko. The first evening that he didn't have an anecdote about Picasso, but at least we heard his long winded story about his aunts in Skopje, and how he struggled his best macedonian that he could muster, only to learn that his aunt was a linguist and actually studied him all the way. He speaks a dialect which is about half a century obsolete.

We're getting in better shape with the drinks, even though the two of them switched to wine, but they kept the pace. We split around 1:30.
