Slavko Enbecin

(Person, Yugoslavia)

Professor of music. Born around Split, came here to make a carreer, bringing his dalmatian/zagoran accent and stout figure. Very interesting person. Built the gimnazija choir into some kind of institution - during his tenure, they travelled the world. We both got first volunteered into it, and then she stayed until the end and Siške and I were kicked out within a few days. Nina, in turn, sounded bad enough that she wasn't volunteered at all.

Honestly, I had ears enough to distinguish good pitch from bad, and I couldn't control mine until late 2018 (!). I just sounded bad.

He was also known to try out the voices of young syrens on solo trials. Dragana actually raised hell, through Ivka, when he tried, and the fuss reached the school director. The story was hushed up but wasn't forgotten.
