She was the secretary in Avai. Lived in the newer part of Čurda with her mom. Vanji hired her in june 1996. straight from economy high school, having asked Brlja's mom (who was teaching there) for the best graduate who won't go to study right away. She arrived for the interview soaken wet, bicycling through an outpour.
Always wore black, at least trousers, often with a matching jacket. Avoided suntan, so I mocked her, asking whether her mirror at home was black & white or it had color, which confused her only for a second. A nice girl altogether, and the couple of times she wore a skirt (out of office - once on a conference we held in city hall, once on the river at the place of Vanji's brother-in-law) she was a veritable distraction, we couldn't get our eyes off her.
Nothing ever happened, AFAIK, but then what do I know.
After Avai practically disbanded, she went to work for UScrew. The last gossip I heard is that she insinuated herself, as a sort of concubine, into some guy's marriage. She did study some 2-year half-college, don't know what came of that.
She always addressed me by nickname, in 2nd person plural, „Paće, do you want a coffee?“. Only in Banat can that be normal.
