The Citroën 2CV is nicknamed spaček [sputcheck] here. It's sharing the name with Cissy Spacek may be a coincidence.
Even now (2012) there are quite a few running around. Probably just as much a legend as the VW beetle (which nobody called so here until the 90s, it was called a turtle). There's one I want to take a shot of, often parked along the way to Čankovo. Jablan had one, Rudolf had one, Bukac had one.
