09-VI-1984.: Ten years reunion

The first maturski of the whole gimnazija. Don't remember whether we had a solemn academy in the theatre that time, it's not in the pictures, but we did have a great gathering in the school, with bunch of group photos. We were still young, thin and pretty, all of us, including the professors.

We, the IV5pp, had a classmaster's class with Marko Bozon. From the pics, the present were Baki, Jolpaz, Oli Boj, Mima (as on this picture), Savka, Tejka, Dragana, Staša, Bosa, Jasmina, Bajče, Kristina, Milica and Žara.

After the class, many of us moved to the nearby hotel's garden (aka terrace) - on the pics there's Strle, Radoje, Borko and most of the rest of IV3 etc. Of IV4 Miljka, Pasa, Gavra, Ksenija, Žuca, Jozda, Milica, J.B, B.S, Beštara, Vladimira...

In the evening, we went to the famous restaurant on the west edge of town, with some reinforcements. She came with me, since she missed her own reunion the previous year, having just had birth at the time; also Bilja, Sredljak, Čombe and Siške. The neighbors also had more people than in the morning - add Sneca, Duca, Višnja (whom I never saw afterwards; this evening she was reheating the sarma with that blonde jock, a year or two younger, cause Veca's husband was busy and possibly not interested). I think we only greeted and never saw again.

The famous picture of three guys, one from each of our three classes (Jolpaz, Hazim and the third man), proudly stretch their bellies out, as they were the generation's champions in the discipline, at least that year. Two of them died before 2010, the third one by the end of 2018.

I established the tradition of taking a couple of pictures when money was counted. I'd repeat that almost every time. The guy with the beard is, as always, Jozda. I heard that one year he was replaced with Gavra and nobody bothered to complete the account of what happened then and why they never want to repeat that.

Bosa is in the center of it.

Bosa is in the center of it.

Bosa is the one in the middle.

There was a lot of dancing, specially the kolo ran several rounds around the tables. Blaja was playing the keyboards in the band. I remember dancing once with Bilja and once with Bosa (in her best outfit ever, the girl did have style). She dropped into some dreamy mood and leaned on my shoulder, leaving lipstick on my collar. Appologized for that, but no need - it's something to remember.

Absolutely no clue about transportation, how we got there and back. Maybe we even walked. I remember that once I heard the "da go pišuvaš kako go zboruvaš" (you shoud write it as you say it - the famous maxima of Vuk Karadžić, but in macedonian (!)) on the road that leads to the tavern, in near complete darkness. This could be the time when that happened. Though, very unlikely, it's 6km. But then 5km to Groš was a regular route for me, so why not.
