Classmate from gimnazija, my division IV5pp. Year younger than the others, and slower growing, he appeared smaller than the rest of us, specially that we had a few tall highlanders.
His surname confused me at first, because it's the same as our neighbor's špicnamet. I thought it was a joke, and now saw it was a real official surname.
He graduated the worst of the class, but that doesn't say much - we were 2nd best in a highly intellectual school, and had we been more disciplined, we may have been on top. He was among those who made us the unruly bunch that we were, with his wits always ready for the next prank, or a witty remark.
He studied, and I think finished, the viša, so a floor engineer, machine or something else, dunno.
Last time I saw him was his cottage in Taraš, where we had the class reunion 2010 (and most of them came just to see me, after eleven some years). It seems his wife kicked him out, and so he lived in this house near the river, getting high on local (or his own) moonshine.
Died in august 2012, heart.
