26-V-2011.

On twonyforth we simply sat on the terrace and played canasta. Didn't do that in quite a while, and about later I also don't remember whether we did more of that. Go and Nina love to play that, guess for nostalgia. It doesn't attract me anymore, I'd maybe play a lorum perhaps, which did happen at times, but you simply can't play cards with small children arround, game gets interrupted and that's not it anymore.

On twonyfifth we went to kaštel, them four and I, because we didn't want to stuff six adults into the saxo. Stanley is learning serbian, even tries to write cyrillic, reads the menu... We had a solid dinner, there's a bunch of shots of full plates from all three shooters and an occasional phone. I drank špricer, mostly to educate sons-in-law about our ways and culture. I even ordered it as 'furniture' and then explained what's the understood meaning of it.

There are barely any shots of today, just a couple from the terrace, where there's a PSP on the coffee table, and the cobalt blue ashtray they nicked from the cafe where they found Taško in the newspaper. (confirmed as of 2025, the ashtray is whole and well)

On twonyseventh Go and Stanley went to Novi, by bus or did Ender drive them. They visited Go's junior year roommate, who's a daughter of a professor from mašinska and a guy from kombinat's erc, the one who was sent to entice me by early 1989, so acquainted from three sides. She's married now, has a kid, she and husband have a band, and played a big gig downtown by the cathedral that evening, and Go shot a hundred or two of quite good shots. Later I downloaded their current album and it was good. The only album I know which depicts marital bliss, unique.

In the evening I put Lena in the saxo and we fetched them. Met on the railway station's parking, which is easy for them to reach by bus, and simple for us to access by car. Made a bunch of shots on the parking, nowadays these places are well lit and today's cameras are sensitive enough, so it came out nicely.

On twonyathe we made a larger lunch, a day ahead of Nina's birthday, as auntie Janja came visiting, and dad ordered a cake...

On twonyninth the shots are somewhat confusing, there's a series shot on the pančevački bridge in the morning, so we went to Belgrade for fuck me if I know what for, perhaps had to take some stuff to Lena's place. Don't know if it was me driving. By dusk, however, we all went to Česterfild for dinner. Us being seven adults, Ender drove us in two parts. He's already orienting well around town, no problem. Luckily, we got a double table in the corner, far from any sports discussions, and even if not, we were making enough noise to screen them out.

The Česterfild uses the same tricks as, as I see, many others do. They increase the number of tables by taking more space outside, which is seasonal, usable only while it's possible to sit outside, generally april to october. Then they make a roof, to protect the guests from the rain. Then makes plastic foil walls around it, to protect them from the wind. Then starts heating up the space, with those gas columns we saw twelve years ago in Buda. So the outside season is extended by at least a month on each end.

We knitted oodles of shots, with three cameras in operation. Nothing relevant happened, nothing important was said. We simply enjoyed sitting all together around the same table.
