The IT guy from the WB's outfit where Go and he work. They met at a cigarette break, and it looks like they clicked really fast. Few weeks later she moved and left Ricardo to fend for himself.
Over the years they got two children, Neša and Anita. They both quit their jobs at WB and he's now doing BMWs - either buying six to make five, or to split into parts, or to thoroughly restore to near mint condition and sell at some fancy price. He's a born hustler, don't get on the phone with him, you'll end up buying something.
About his parents. It wasn't really a happy marriage, if it was one. At the time I got to know them, his father was living more or less as homeless, or in some cheap tiny apartment, while spending most of his social security check, and whatever he earned playing piano in bars, on paying the storage for his collection of... mostly rubbish, things he'd find or buy for a few cents, and nowadays his apartment and the car are full of it, Stanley doesn't understand how he can drive like that, there's stuff even under the pedals. His latest feint was, when Stanley asked why he never asks how's Go, that he's reading a book by Madeleine Albright, and that Serbs have mistreated the Muslims (!). His two brothers won't answer his calls.
His mother lived her last years in Hawaii. She used to live in some sort of a hippie commune. Had another son by a different husband. Stanley grew up with her, though he doesn't talk much about that, only that he was homeschooled and passed his GED okay.
After the Fukushima disaster, she got under the influence of some doomspeller on Youtube, and fully believed that all the radioactive stuff will hit Hawaii first and yallgonnadie. At some point, after Neša was born, she came to live with them, and at least saw one grandson before she died - the doomsayer was very convincing and she did get a cancer - probably from fear. They tried to ease her pain, at least, with canabis oil, which worked, but couldn't turn the ship.
I neer saw her, except once briefly, when he talked with her on skype, and was arranging for her move to Seattle.
