My online nick since 1990, when I got into sezam. Along with a password based on some word-game once done by Slave, I've used it in too many places to remember. I do have a few alter egos for the places where I cultivate a different persona.
In places where I had to change the password regularly, I'd simply add a two-digit number which I'd increment each time. At UniJewel the last password in use ended with 26; at Firriver it stopped at 04, because Jan was pissed off with that kind of forced password fast enough, and changed the behavior as soon as he got his hands on the server.
