An old European gentleman, probably just a couple of years older than me. It was on his push that I got into my diamond industry stint at UniJewel. Then he was my remote boss between february 2004 and may 2006.
He spoke english, hebrew, french, dutch and probably yiddish. Not sure about polish, maybe. The week he was visiting us, I heard him speak with his wife, it was in at least two languages. He spoke english fluently, with occasional intrusion of french sentence construction, where a sentence would often end with a „..., no.“. Which is probably an elision of „..., is it not?“, but the sentence is not a question at all, not anymore since a long time ago.
If it's me who often replies to „A or B“ questions with a „yes“, he's the one to reply to the same questions with a „no“.
