I know only two shipbuilding engineers, him and Vasa. Exactly one year younger than me. Of course, we two originated the august birthdays tradition.

My dad seems to have been with his mom for a while, before the final shuffling of cards.

He also worked here at the shipyard, probably never at the same time as Vasa did, then taught in mašinska, and then they sold their house and moved to Canada, in the fall of 1994. We spoke twice a year while we were in the neighborhood, an hour at a time.
