Software, networking and hardware company in Gemenc, where I worked june 1994 - february 1996. Officially started on 1st of september 1994, when I got my tartozkodási engedély (sojourn permit). Four owners - Mihály, Vilmos, and two guys in Budapest; then, jointly owned by the larger company those two had, then nearly went bust when those guys were caught doing something... the company still lives, and the software I wrote there is, at least the main app, in some incarnation being used in several hospitals in Hungary. I wonder who's still there from the old gang.
Last search found them on a Pest address - the same old story that it doesn't matter who you are but rather where (from). "Had Omege been a belgrade band, they'd have been bigger than Siluete and Elipse".
The offices were in an old peasant's house, with the gonk closed with glass - which is a dire mistake, because it turned it into a hot greenhouse, all that glass facing south. It was in a small street parallel to the main, still bearing the name of some Soviet composer or painter, about a kilometer away from the centre.
Ula, the secretary, mostly held it together.
